FAQ

How accurate are your video game release countdowns?

Our video game release countdowns are based on official announcements from publishers, developers, and platform holders. We continuously monitor updates and adjust release dates whenever they change. Each countdown reflects the most recently confirmed release date for upcoming games.

Can I suggest a game to add to the countdown tracker?

Absolutely! Use the Contact Us button in the footer or in your account settings, select 'Game Suggestion' as the category, and tell us about the game. We love hearing your suggestions!

Do I need an account to use DaysUntil?

No, you can browse all upcoming games without an account. However, creating a free account lets you save up to 3 games as favorites and receive an email notification on the day each one releases.

Can I add games of my choice as favorites?

Yes! Create a free account and click the star icon on any game card to save it to your favorites. You can save up to 3 games and view them anytime in the Favorites section. You'll also receive an email notification on the day each favorite game releases.

Will I be notified when a favorite game releases?

Yes! Once you save a game to your favorites, you'll automatically receive an email on its release day. You can enable or disable this notification anytime from your account settings.

What time will I receive the release day notification?

Release day notifications are sent at 9:00 AM Eastern Time (ET). Here's when that is in other regions:

• 6:00 AM – Pacific Time (PT)

• 1:00 PM – UTC

• 2:00 PM – UK (GMT/BST)

• 3:00 PM – Central Europe (CET/CEST)

• 10:00 AM – Colombia & Peru

• 10:00 AM – Mexico City

• 11:00 AM – Argentina & Chile

Are your video game release dates based on European release dates?

Yes. Our countdowns reflect officially announced European release dates. In most cases, these dates are the same for all countries worldwide, although availability may vary slightly depending on platform or digital store.

Do you track every upcoming game release?

No. Days Until focuses on the most anticipated upcoming video game releases, along with a curated selection of notable titles across major platforms like PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and mobile. We cover games with confirmed release dates as well as titles without a confirmed date, so you can always see what's coming next—even if the exact release date isn't set yet.

How do you decide which platform release date to show when a game launches on multiple platforms?

When a game launches on multiple platforms, we show the release date closest to the initial launch. Once the game is released on any platform, it is marked as Released and we usually do not update it for other platforms. For example, if it launches first on PC, that will be the final status, even if it later comes out on PlayStation or Xbox. In some exceptional cases, changes may be reflected if a release on another platform is particularly significant.

What happens if a game release date is delayed?

If a game is delayed, we update the listing as soon as a new official release date is announced. Your countdown will automatically adjust to reflect the updated launch schedule, so you always see the latest information.

Do your countdowns adjust to my time zone?

Our countdowns are based on the officially announced release date. Since some games launch at different times depending on region or platform, the exact availability may vary.

Do you track DLCs, expansions, or remasters?

Yes, we occasionally include major DLCs, expansions, remasters, and special editions—especially when they are highly anticipated by the community.

Is Days Until officially affiliated with game publishers?

No. Days Until is an independent video game release countdown tracker. We are not affiliated with publishers, developers, or platform holders. All trademarks and game titles belong to their respective owners.
